Unresponsive controls

In Bioshock, I am getting unresponsive controls at times, which make it impossible to play the game well.

So if I'm strafing left, and press right, it will take about 3-5 seconds to respond to the keypress.

It does not do this on other games so its not my keyboard etc.

Does anyone know how to fix this atall?

My specs are fine.

Un-plug then plug in your keyboard again.

Don't get me started on how many problems I've had with Bioshock, this probably has nothing to do with your problem, but I'm getting a totally new system. For you, it could be something with usb, or i dunno. Is it only in Bioshock you get this problem?

Reinstall Bioshock, for me I never had these kind of problems with Bioshock except installing that DX10 Runtime crap and the C++ thing to get Bioshock to run.
